Pinelands Athletic Club

The Pinelands Athletic Club organises two road racing events a year on the Western Province running calendar.

Asics Hohenort 15Km

On the third Saturday in January the club organises the Hohenort 15 kilometer road race. This race starts and finishes at the Alphen Community Hall, Constantia across the road from the False Bay Rugby Club.

The race starts at 06h00, with entries being taken from 04h45 to 05h45. The route is an undulating, tough run through the picturesque suburb of Constantia. The hardest part of the run is at about 12 Km and then it is an easy downhill to the end. Walkers are most welcome.

McKenna & Scott Pinelands 10 km

The McKenna Scott Optometrists 10 km takes place the first weekend in August. This is a fast, flat 2 lap route run mainly through the streets of Pinelands and surrounding areas. It is an ideal race to go for a PB. Walkers are most welcome. There is a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes.
